WinFakt win last chance qualifier

WinFakt has come out on top of the IEM6 Global Challenge Kiev last chance qualifier, defeating viva Algeria 16-8 on de_nuke to gain access to the first stage of the qualifier.

Six hours and forty minutes after the start, the winner of the last chance qualifier was found. The final turned out to be between WinFakt and viva Algeria. WinFakt had a rather easy way through the bracket, while viva Algeria managed to upset Virtus.pro in the semi-final to gain access to the final.

Starting on the Terrorists side on de_nuke, WinFakt did not meet much resistance, leading 10-5 at halftime. As CT, the Finnish team continued rolling and viva Algeria never came close to challenging them, as WinFakt went on to win 16-8.

With the victory WinFakt qualify for the first qualification stage for IEM6 Global Challenge Kiev, which will see following teams competing:

The first qualification stage will be played on Sunday, playing best-of-three maps in a double-elimination bracket, where top sixteen will advance to the second qualification stage a week later.
